Study of non-captive wildlife

In response to growing ecological concerns, the study of free-ranging wild fauna (FRWF) has become a major issue. To address these needs, we offer services and specialized training aimed at supporting conservation actions for endangered species and managing zoonotic risks in public health. Our interventions are part of an ethical and responsible approach, with particular attention to respecting animals in their natural environment.

    An Integrated Vision for Global Well-Being

    ONE WELFARE

    The One Welfare concept highlights the fundamental interconnections between animal welfare, human well-being, and environmental sustainability.

    Inspired by the One Health paradigm, this holistic approach acknowledges that challenges related to health and well-being cannot be fully understood or addressed without considering the complex interconnections between animals, humans, and their environment. In fields such as biomedical research, the management of free-ranging wildlife, and the ethics of animal populations, One Welfare offers sustainable and harmonious solutions that meet the demands of these three interdependent pillars. Since 2018, several research projects have demonstrated the effectiveness of this approach in addressing complex issues, such as human-wildlife conflicts or the management of animals in research contexts.
